Hi! I’m Kathleen. I started a small, homebased bookkeeping service in 1988 while my
children were little. The business was successful and allowed me to stay at home
with my children while still earning a respectable living. In 1989 I added tax
preparation to my services and in 1995 I became an Enrolled Agent. Enrolled Agents
are tax professionals who are licensed by the Internal Revenue Service to
represent taxpayers in front of the IRS. Enrolled Agents are the only federally
licensed tax professionals. CPAs and Attorneys are licensed by their states.
Since 1989 I have prepared thousands of tax returns, from the very simple individual
return to the very complex corporate return. By 2002, I had grown my small, homebased bookkeeping practice into the largest non-CPA tax and accounting firm in my area!
In 2004, I sold my business and spent the next tax season vacationing in Belize!
Well rested, I returned as CFO of a small technology start up company. As Chief Financial Officer I worked closely with the CEO of the company in preparing and presenting detailed business and financial plans to Angel Investors and Venture Capital Firms.
Now I am venturing out into the World Wide Web, where I assist eBay Sellers,
Internet Marketers and other small businesses in reaching their financial and
business goals. I offer a range of affordable financial and web services to Internet Entrepreneurs, including tax planning and preparation, business mentoring, and business and finanacial consulting.
